First, we were given a basement room with a large stain on the bed. We were offered another room on the first floor; however, there was a strong smell of sewage in the bathroom, which was very unpleasant. Overall, the hotel did not feel very clean, but the staff were kind

Room was very small, TV didn't work initially but this was quickly sorted. Wet room concept is quite good but everything in the bathroom gets soaked so it is difficult to use the toilet. 'Influencers' are annoying at breakfast and the service charge when ordering at the bar is an annoyance as you don't know the price you are actually paying. Staff are really friendly and helpful

The room was nice, lovely balcony. Great breakfast and wonderful helpful staff. The only complaint was the overwhelming fragrances in the lobby. So much potpourri or scented candles.

I loved my stay at Ellen. I am normally very picky when it comes to lodging and was more than satisfied with the room, service and cleanliness. I would 10/10 choose to stay here again if I’m ever back in London.
The close (2 min walk) proximity to the tube station and lots of quick food options made everything very easy.

This hotel is a gem of a find. Room was lovely. Bed so comfy. Breakfast was so fresh and maybe the best hotel breakfast ever had. Im not one to stay at the same.place twice as i like to try different but would definitely come back here
