I've always heard Manchester get a bad wrap or being labelled a rubbish city. It's the complete opposite, my favourite city I've visited in the country so far. Clean, modern and old mixed together perfectly. Lots of different culture and restaurants

Manchester continues to be an excellent city to visit. Lots to see and do. Great dining/drinking/shopping options. We visit frequently and were disappointed to see a decline in general cleanliness of streets and more homelessness which was sad to see

We walked from victoria station to st peters square as not used to tram systems but once we figured that out getting around was a doddle. Everything is within walking distance but trams save the aching feet. Great for shopping and food choices

We had an amazing time. We went to Manchester for a concert at the coop live. Quick and easy travel to this venue, very close to the tram. We also visited Arndale centre and went the the immersive game which again was great fun 100% recommend

I have never thought of the UK as a foodie destination, but I was so surprised. I had some incredible meals daily! I didn't have to look far. The vibrant Asian community is serving the most authentic dishes that will blow you away.

We were there for the last day of their Christmas Market and enjoyed wandering about the old city. We marveled at the charming mix of ancient and modern and found fabulous cafes and restaurants with menus that support food allergies.

I travelled up from Brighton for a special event at the AO Arena, which is a great venue. Everyone I spoke to in Manchester seemed warm and friendly and I found the most amazing book shop, where the owner was very good humoured.

We loved the vibe in Manchester. The Trafford Centre was great. Central Manchester was lovely. We found the Christmas Markets a little disappointing. Loads of food and alcoholic drink stalls but not much else really.

There is so much to do in Manchester with an amazing range of eating and drinking places and shops we don't have at home. The eating places all seemed to cater for vegans and dietary needs which is great.
"We didn’t eat at The Treehouse but had drinks in the bar. The drinks menu is a little expensive but considering the quality of the hotel is to be expected, and that is the only criticism we had about The Treehouse. The hotel is in a prime location for shopping, restaurants, bars and sightseeing. The Printworks is a must it has everything all under one roof, it has restaurants, bars, gaming and a cinema. Our room had the most comfortable beds, it was very clean and very well equipped. The staff were amazing, all very, welcoming, polite, helpful, informative, caring and always had a smile on their faces. It was an absolute joy to stay at The Treehouse and will be returning. The staff are a real credit to this hotel and if asked to name any one member of staff that stood out from the rest we would not be able to choose. AL the staff went above and beyond to make our incredible."

"We stayed here for a 3rd time as our experiences in the past have been excellent.
The room is a great layout and the beds are so comfortable, we slept so well.
Despite being in the heart of the city centre with really busy nightlife going on outside the soundproofing blocks all of the noise out.
The location is very central, so for us that meant we had a great choice of pubs and restaurants within 10 minutes in all directions.
Breakfast was excellent too, great choice of hot and cold foods."
"Staff members are friendly and helpful. Stayed just a night but was able to sleep in a double bed and room was clean. I liked they sent me the instructions how I could get there from the station. Thank you!"

"We had a fantastic stay in Manchester I was there with my daughter to see Billie Ellish in concert. Everyone was lovely and kind and asked straight away if we needed help with getting to the concert and ordered a taxi for us as soon as we was checked in....The room was lovely and very clean.... This is definitely a 5* hotel for me couldn't of asked for anymore....."

"Really nice hotel. The staff on the front desk were lovely, they offered me and my friend a complimentary cocktail as it was her birthday which was really sweet of them. Beds were comfy, bathroom was nice and love how hot the shower could go! The only downside is that there was a weird smell in the corridors and sometimes in the bar area. Could just be the scent of the cleaner they use but it wasn't the most pleasant smell so I'm not sure. Not enough of a negative to deter me ever staying again though!"
"What makes my stay here special is the lovely welcome from the gentleman on the front desk.
He is a credit to your establishment, he truly is.
Polite, helpful, kind, everything you could wish for. Even a warm cookie!
Sadly l don’t remember his name. I’ve been staying at this hotel for four or five years and he’s always been there.
I hope he never leaves!
