Great location for Szepasszony-Volgy. Even the city center is easily walkable. We had great experience with the restaurant as well.

This hotel is beautiful both outside and inside. It is too far to walk to town center, but it only takes several min drive to get to the town center if you have a car. Free parking outside of the yard of the hotels. The only two disadvantages are not able to use wifi inside the room (but wifi in the breakfast room works fine) and no electric hot water kettle available. If the WIFI works fine inside the hotel room, definite I will return to stay in this hotel in the future.

This is one of the most beautiful, culturally authentic boutique hotels in which I have ever stayed. Vast rooms with authentic Hungarian decor. Out room geatured carved wood, a sitting area, a private walled outside area, an adjacent excellent restaurant, a good and copious breakfast. Quiet. A short walk to an atea of little restaurants and wine bars. The Hotel’s outdoor restaurant tables are under a vast, overhead grape arbor.
Take the two-hour train ride to Eger from Budapest, FREE if you are over 65, as is all public transport in Hungary. Train was modern and clean. The whole country is underrated, in my view.

Tolle Lage, schöne Unterkunft. Schmackhaftes Frühstück. Selbst mit Airco recht warm im Sommer. Service und Freundlichkeit könnten besser sein, mit Ausnahme des Personals beim Frühstück.
