Wonderful old building that has had many previous uses, and now rents out guest rooms at a very affordable rate. Well maintained, and the owner lives on-site and is extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend as a great alternative to more expensive chain hotel or resort rooms.

A charming place to stay! Very clean and comfortable. A quiet neighborhood, but close to things to do in Saranac Lake. Very friendly and helpful staff. John went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable.

Love it!
Absolutely amazing value for the price! We booked this pretty last minute for a concert in town we were going to and we loved it! Super comfortable and cozy, walking distance to down town, clean, quiet. We loved it so much we booked another stay for the end of October! This will definitely be our go to place to stay anytime we are in the Sarnac Lake area!

A lovely break!
My 12 year old son and I stayed here as part of a trip to Lake Placid. So quiet and peaceful, while being so convenient to restaurants and shopping in Saranac Lake.
Very clean, and the caretaker could not have been nicer.
Would absolutely stay here again!

This was a clean Hotel and comfortable. check in was very easy as there was no staff to interact with. I just checked my email for instructions which told me my room number and key location. the shared bathrooms/showers was interesting but doable and there was adequate number of house slippers to get to our room.
