Worst experience in 15 years of travelling

By far after 15 years of travelling in Europe, this is the worst hostel we have stayed. Pros: clean & centrally located. Cons: curtains missing requested and ignored. mattress is sunking. Photos shows mini fridge and microwave but missing blame Hotels.com using outdated photos. Hotels.com says it’s not in the description. water will leak when shower. The whole floor of the apartments are cramp and cheaply made. smell of sewage occasionally I will absolutely not coming back even if the owner offer discount what a horrible experience.

I'm a world traveler! Architect from California! DO NOT book this room! The check in is a total nightmare! This is all done online there is no reception desk! It took me 3 hours to check in! The place is hard to find! At night forget it! The codes they send you don't work! Seriously do not get involved with this stay! It's the WORST ever! Every guest i talked to had the exact same entry experience I encountered! Forget this place!

Received a different room to what i ordered. The management said it was Expedia's fault but there was nothing Expedia could do. This is a scam company who knows how to abuse the system and get away with it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, because most likely you will not get your room and lose your money.

Read this one! It's a gem!!

After reading the dismal reviews I was a little apprehensive. I can assure you that this place is a great little place to stay. Good location, quiet, refurbed, clean. Only downsides I can think of are no curtain in room so no alarm clock for me...nature's alarm clock made sure I was up and at em at 7am ☀️☀️, the shower bracket was a bit dodgy but managed to get a workable angle to get clean. The cleaner was super friendly and the check in process( although unconventional) was relatively straightforward if you follow the rules. To stay in the centre of Madrid for 30euros a night? With a private bathroom? It's a no brainer! Thanks for a great stay

We like their location for: Convenient, cleanliness and safe because it is next to city policy station. But the room is small like a bird cage, only 1 pillow for 2 people, and warning for the first time foreigners (non-Spanish speaking) in Madrid like us: You should be prepared to deal with non-English people :(. It took us 2 hrs for looking, waiting and dealing with the building and meet the registration guy. They post a phone number on the door and ask you to do online check in but my phone could not contact them and and internet network is slow like s.ht. Do not book this property if you visit Madrid on the 1st time and have no Spanish speaking experiences.

El sistema de acceso funcionaba mal , las instrucciones para acceder además no eran completas, casi me abro la muñeca al intentar abrir la puerta de la habitación porque requeria dar una vuelta completa al pomo sin dejar de pulsar un botón, por lo que después de veinte minutos lo conseguimos, pero no nos atrevimos a salir de la habitación más por si no podíamos conseguir abrirla a la vuelta. La ropa de la cama y las toallas tenían manchas de suciedad; en el baño, no había forma de colgar ninguna toalla, por lo que nada más llegar, una se nos cayó al inodoro; la televisión no tenía mando a distancia; en la habitación había un número de WhatsApp para comunicarnos con los administradores anteriores cualquier problema, pero les escribimos y no les llegaban los mensajes. Apenas pudimos descansar porque en la habitación de al lado estuvieron haciendo mucho ruido toda la noche hasta las 6 de la mañana, y ante imposibilidad de comunicarnos con ellos, nos fuimos sin dormir. Es una lástima, porque la ubicación es buena.

Al momento de reservar, el hotel informaba que contaba con recepción de 9AM a 12 de la noche y servicio de resguardo de equipaje (espero que ya lo hayan eliminado) porque NO TIENEN RECEPCIÓN (el check-in es virtual y no hay nadie en el lugar) y menos resguardo de equipaje, el personal (solo atienden por WhatsApp) contesta solo si les apetece responder a las preguntas, sino simplemente te ignoran hasta que hagas otra pregunta que si quieran contestar y dicen, no veo ningún otro mensaje, al final dicen puede traer su equipaje a la recepción de otro hotel, pero la dirección que te dan está a 2 kilometros de distancia del hostal, que sentido tendría ir a llevar el equipaje hasta allá, en fin, la habitación bien, para dormir y ducharse, hay elevador en la propiedad.

Achei o check in bem complicado. Demoramos alguns minutos para termos todas as informações mas assim que tivemos, a estadia foi agradável. Perto do centro, caminhada bem curta para a Gran Via. Acredito que a limpeza das paredes poderia ser melhor (entendo que a maior culpa é dos hóspedes anteriores sem educação). infelizmente, ao que parece, meu marido foi picado por bed bug. Ele ficou com a perna bastante marcada, cheia de bolinhas mas não tivemos maiores problemas. Banheiro estava bem limpo!!

UN FRAUDE, NO OS ALOJÉIS. Llegamos y las habitaciones que reservamos y pagamos estaban abiertas y sucias. Intentamos ponernos en contacto con el alojamiento por teléfono repetidamente y nadie nos contestó, ni siquiera al WhatsApp. Tuvimos que reservar otras dos habitaciones en un nuevo alojamiento porque no pudimos hospedarnos. No se hacen cargo ni responden a los emails enviados. EXPERIENCIA NEFASTA Y UN ABSOLUTO TIMO.

En primer lugar, en las fotografías del anuncio se indicaba que la habitación disponía de microondas y frigorífico (por eso llevamos comida para guardarla allí, lo que acabó estropeándose toda). Hablé con el personal y me dijeron que esa información era mentira, cuando aparece claramente en las fotos de la habitación elegida. En segundo lugar, el baño tenía un olor horrible e insoportable. Además, había bichos en la ducha. Y cuando nos duchábamos, el agua salía con espuma por la tapa del desagüe. Incluso tuvimos que comprar velas para poder soportar el olor del baño. Por último, la cama, además de ser súper incómoda (está muy hundida en el centro), si nos sentábamos en el borde para vestirnos, la cama se volcaba hacia el otro lado. Ah, y las sábanas estaban llenas de bolitas. El único punto positivo es realmente la ubicación.
