"I was bummed that it was raining during my stay, but totally wouldn’t have minded staying in the hotel all night and morning. Lovely space and the size of the hotel was perfect, not too overwhelming but totally enough space to enjoy your breakfast. Clean and the windows blocked out the noise from outside really well."

"Would absolutely stay again. Hotel is very conveniently located near a T station (8min walk through a well lit park) and right off the highway. You can take a 15m walk to really good local restaurants and a crazy good ice cream shop! Or drive, parking wasn’t too bad in Arlington. The hotel was very clean, parking was a breeze and the receptionist helped us sign up for rewards that got us free parking. Speaking of which the staff was very friendly. Lobby areas had a lot of seating if you’re waiting for a ride or you DoorDash dinner! We don’t drink but there was a bar that I believe served food as well. Didn’t try the breakfast but it looked quite good. The pool is pretty small but probably fun for guests with little ones. Gym had what I needed for vacation workouts. Overall I’d absolutely stay here again, I’d much rather pay $100’s less and catch the T to go anywhere I wanted saving that $$ for activism and great Boston food! Great staff, VERY clean and safe. Will be back!"

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Cambridge

  1. Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Cambridge is during January, February, and December, when hotel prices tend to be lower. For a comprehensive experience of the city's historical landmarks, cultural sites, and architectural wonders, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended. This budget-friendly timeframe allows you to explore the prestigious university, visit fascinating museums, enjoy the stunning urban architecture, and perhaps take a leisurely stroll along the river. With the potential for prices to drop during these months, it's a great value for money for anyone looking to discover Cambridge's rich heritage while on a budget.

  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate due to factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could potentially help you find more affordable options for your stay in a Cambridge hotel. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and may offer better value. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we might suggest alternative dates that could help you find a more favourable rate.
  4. Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre generally tend to be more expensive; however, with Cambridge's outstanding public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less populated neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
