Nice place, shame about the bed.
Nice area and size of room.
Staff were pleasant and welcoming
Room was tidy but not overly clean, mould on ceiling in shower, shower door didn’t like to shut very easily and the shower looked tatty.
Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable which was the real let down.
Easy commute to Alton towers though

Great for value for money accommodation 10 minutes from Alton Towers. Tea and coffee in room and bottled water we grateful received after a late finish in spook fest.

The unique thing about this property was the spiders nests and webs with the thrown in blue bottles. I know its nearly Halloween. But this place had its real live props. Don't let the towel swans fool you in the picture. It's stinking.

Friendly pub and very welcoming. Extremely close to the railway which was a bonus for us. Don’t know if it was because it was out of season but very limited on choice of real ales ( i.e only one available when we visited) and only one choice of wine. Can highly recommend the breakfast it was very good. Would definitely go back.
