Airport Planet Lodge at Kilimanjaro Airport
"Perfect hotel for airport stay. Very convenient location for Kilimanjaro , Safari, Airport etc. Staff were lovely and so helpful! Property was clean and very comfortable. We loved the breakfast."
Sanna Boutique Hotel
"The hotel is modern, rooms are large with good amenities. Breakfast was good. The staff is cordial and eager to help. The location is near stores , restaurants and shopping."
Rivertrees Country Inn
"Great in all categories."
Fun Retreat Resort, Hotel and Ayurveda Spa
"This resort is strangely wonderful. I mean that in the best way. It is a fun resort and if you have very young kids you may not leave. The pool is clean and refreshing. The food is cooked fresh for every meal( so sometimes when you order 4 different styles it can take a little while) but western , Indian or Tanzanian was all really tasty. All the pictures on the internet are real. ( apart from Swiss Cottage I couldn’t find that one) Bar is huge , so is the restaurant. Staff are very kind and helpful just remember to give them time to get a driver as they need to find someone they trust. The only down side is not there fault , and that it was quiet when we stayed. Plus the road outside was being reworked . Beer and food prices were all reasonable, we visited another resort and found out how good they were. So I do recommend it . I took my wife and two teenage girls and even though it was quiet we would all happily stay again."
Kia Lodge
"This is a lovely place that we picked because of its proximity to Kilimanjaro Airport. We only stayed one night but I would be happy to stay longer if we were going to be in the area. I liked the bush-like appearance of the grounds. Everything was top-notch. Food was great. As to seeing the mountain--not in the cards that day. I highly recommend the facility"
Palace Hotel Arusha
"Room was spacious and comfy and breakfast was good."
Mount Meru Hotel
"It’s just amazing."
Kibo Palace Hotel Arusha
"This property is comfortable with a great in house restaurant. The room was clean and the closet was a good size for hanging up multiple outfits. The staff were all very polite. The tanzanite store in the lobby has fantastic prices and Moses himself is a gem - extremely kind and helpful. The only issue we had were the extremely incompetent taxi drivers who did not seem to know where they were going. I highly suggest you show the driver the directions on Google Maps BEFORE you depart the hotel because we attempted to show them during the ride but they were not interested ."
Arusha Serena Hotel
"Very spa-like hotel. Beautiful rooms with a cottage like appearance.. The estate is so beautiful, you can take walks to admire the garden-like landscape. Dining room is beautiful also. Staff very friendly and helpful."
