Positives: The hotel is nice and clean, with decent dining option. The staff is prompt and courteous. The hotel is kept very clean. Negatives: 1. Cars cannot come into the hotel after 11 am or so. If you have luggage, travel with kids and senior citizens, you will have to walk a fair amount of distance before you get to the hotel. The walk is challenging, because it is extremely crowded and busy with heavy traffic, and really filthy. That general area around the hotel is quite filthy. Thus the walk can be quite dangerous. 2. If you get a room close to the kitchen, it is noisy as hell till late night, and starts again early morning. Good luck getting good sleep.
Food is not that great. We had a party but it was not that great . Overall very okay.
All staff is kindly, friendly and hospitality. I do come back and stay at this hotel again when I go to Nepal next time! Thank you very much:))))
Horrible
I am retired army officer and stayed in room no. 304 of Ganges Grand Hotel. I am highly impressed by the cleanliness, hospitable ,well mannered, trained & well groomed staff . Persons at reception are highly professional ,well behaved and courteous. Crew members at Restaurant Dawat are wonderful & serve with smile. Restraunt is clean, food served is tasty and delicious. House Keeping staff is efficient and highly impressed by the prompt service. Value for money. I wish all the best to all the staff of team Ganges Grand.
The hotel is near to the important places. The staff are so courteous and pleasing. The person named Raunak was so helpful and informative. The guide (Manohar) that was attached to us was so patient in explaining everything and guiding us perfectly what to do when to do w.r.t temple Darshanam etc.
For the price this was an amazing room. Varanasi is a challenging place and when I walked in the room I was extremely surprised by the comfort and cleanliness. The restaurant is fabulous and the staff quite friendly. I was sick after eating something in Delhi and the made it a point to check on how I was doing. Lastly it is extremely close to the Ganges and the Ghats requiring only a 10 min slow stroll to get there.
