I love Ottawa. A gem for sure. I'm looking forward to visiting again. Beautiful, clean, stately, friendly, historic, active. Great restaurants. The only negative was I was approached for money three times in two days, which I'm not used to.

The Byward Market area is a short walk to Notre Dame Basilica, and the Ottawa National Gallery, with plenty of dining options. Relying on Uber and Via Rail for transportation, there is no need to rent a car for a short visit to the city.

Ottawa beautiful city. We definitely enjoyed our time. We did a free guided tour of the Senate which was very informative. We also tried the Amphibus tour by LadyDive. It's a great way to see the city in a short time.

You have to get to downtown Ottawa and experience the shopping. Fantastic city. Very friendly. Try curling, you'll love it! Chinese food and Beavertails are wonderful.
"Beautiful hotel, it is brand new. Rooms are very nice, gym and pool also top notch. Nicely located downtown, but there is a high number of homeless and mentally ill people in the street in that part of the city. Also, parking fees id pretty high. But other than that I highly recommend this hotel."
