The hotel and grounds are wonderful, set meal and breakfast although basic where very good value and excellent quality. Staff were great,only disappointment was the bar was low on stock each drink asked for they didn't have,minor problems.

Parking was relatively easy but reaching the hotel had its challenges - wooden posts to stop cars parking and lights on the grass making driving on the roadway very difficult in low light and mist.

This is the second time staying at the hotel and it’s been very good, the only areas that could be improved are the breakfast selection and the rooms having air conditioning.

Room was clean and had good supplies of toiletries and coffee tea. However would have been helpful to advise before booking in advertising that gym/pool access cost £5 each.
Plus things were out of action.
Also we were awoken at before 5 to a funny whistling ringing noise - sounded like heating system.
Small things like for a double bed spare pillows as one each.
Everything else was described and clean and ideal one night stay

The rom was freezing cold, I was told the hotel central heating was not working.
The restaurant was closed, I had to eat at a buffet bar and the food was good but £30 per head when all i wanted was a sandwich and soup was a little pricey.
Will avoid next time I am in the area

Peaceful
A lovely relaxing evening in the spa. Just what we needed to unwind from a stressful week at work. The hotel room was lovely and clean, with a comfortable bed. We were in a quiet part of the hotel and was not disturbed by noise. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Contractors hotel with very limited and very expensive food. Outdated swimming pool which hotel guests have to pay extra for, even though the steam room was out of use.
Hot stuffy rooms with no air con and remote location.

Was not looking forward to this hotel having looked at reviews but it was a really good 2 night stay room was clean staff were nice lovely restaurant bar area nice and relaxed with the kids , the only thing is charge for pool with 5 of us for 2 nights extra 50 which is not ok if they changed that it would make people alot happier its a strange charge ?? But the pool was warm and very clean .

Overall a good hotel
Used Meon valley for a weekend away to see family and friends in the area the hotel is alittle but dated in its decor but we have no issues with the cleanliness and what was offered. We both found the bed to really comfy and the ammenities supllied were up to par. Beautiful surroundings and veiws and very quiet a great stay.

The pool was booked out by private parties most of the time, no room cleaning if you used the pool there was a £5 charge per head there room was hot and ventilation was poor not all rooms had a fridge i requested one and was told fridges were not available.... i had meds that needed to be kept cold , the prices in the bar are a bit on the steep side
