If driving, sort out parking before you arrive! The hotel has a discount code if you pre-book in the Q-park Omni. The hotel is a bit of a walk from the car park so would recommend briefly parking outside the hotel when checking in and unloading suitcases.

The rooms are large and spacious. It was a long steep walk from Edinburgh Railway station to the hotel therefore not suitable for people with mobility problems. There are many dining options within 500 m of the hotel. The breakfast was quite adequate.

All of the staff we interacted with could not have been more helpful, especially the receptionists. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed breakfast in the terrace in the morning and the bar in the evening! It’s perfectly located to explore Edinburgh and has loads of easy transport links nearby. Pros: The staff are friendly, helpful, attentive and knowledgeable. The location is very good, quiet, near many dining options. Cons: It would be better if the room has a mini fridge or microwave. The mattress of the sofa bed is too soft and does not support 2 people well. I hope the sofa bed mattress can be improved in the future. Overall, we like the hotel.
