The palace was really great and clean. It was also quiet. No real road noise heard. The only thing I didn't like. (Which is common in most mid grae hotel) You can hear the person above you walking around. water piipes running in the AM. But, Overall I would defiantly recommend this hotel. Good until water leaking problem.
Most of the stay was good, the check-in service was good, the room was quiet and clean and the hotel breakfast was warm and well tended. But on the last day we suffered a big water leaking from the bathroom ceiling. I think the hotel was aware of this problem from earlier occurrences. It needs a permanent solution.

run down, smelly, needs updating The only redeeming factor was how clean the staff was able to get this hotel considering the overall condition of the place. Staff was friendly, hotel was clean except for my bathroom which looked like needed repairs, especially the sink. Located next to a busy road which became very noisy with early morning traffic. Middle of the pack hotel. Recommend to anyone whose not to picky and needs an affordable place to stay by SJC airport
