A fantastic, modern, clean, secure, quiet and centrally located budget hotel. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Only one criticism…on-line check in is pointless. You still have to queue at the desk to check in. However, that’s a corporate issue and not in any way the fault of the hotel. We’ll be back!

Very pleasant hotel, reasonable rates.

Very pleasant place. Standard Ibis hotel, but none the worse for that. Comfy room, quiet, great bed. Well located near the harbour, with easy parking. Lots of restaurants in the area. We just needed a place for a couple of nights while visiting family and it was perfect for that.

Bad night sleep

Stayed here a few times and always slept soundly. This time was not the case, the pillows were very flat and hard, even the spare one in the cupboard. Disappointed as i said I have always had a good night sleep here. Room was 225

Nice hotel. Rooms basic and small but very clean. Staff superbly helpful. Bathrooms are a bit odd, accessible via a raised step, no bath - bit like stepping into an airport toilet. If you want an accessible bathroom ?(i.e. walk-in, I found out on arrival) you need to request (which I will do next time). Good location, close to harbourside and bus stops. The staff made this hotel really, very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast options also including gf options.

Alright, good location

Hotel was nice, staff were friendly, breakfast was ok, room was alright but we were given disabled room which was fine as we checked in early which they accommodated us. Mattress was sparse and uncomfortable and floor was dirty and dusty so it stuck ti our feet, shower curtain kept breaking and fan was extremely noisy during the night which we turned off in the end. Could do with a bit of a spruce up, rest was ok

Double bed made up of two singles pushed together

Had a double bed booked, however this ended up being two single beds pushed together. Unfortunately this was only noticed as I got into bed to sleep, otherwise I would have asked for an alternative room, however it led to an incredibly poor night sleep as the gap between mattresses was very noticeable. Reception on check out was very apologetic but not clear what action would be taken to stop this in future. A double bed should be a double bed!

Absolutely amazing from start to finish! Easy and smooth check in process, lift up to our level and then we where greeted by a nice clean room with comfy beds and the nicest pillows ever!

Great staff, worst room ever.

Friendly staff was the only positive. The room was awful. The tap was a trickle as was the shower. We were given a tiny disabled room, the bathroom being a wet room, which was wet! There was nowhere to use a hairdryer, the only socket was by the tea making facility, very hygienic! and no mirror. The bathroom door opened so so wide it was in the way. When we booked, the rooms looked so much better online. We were only staying two days so put up with it. Another point, the curtains didn’t block the light out either and we were on the side of the sun rising. I doubt we would stay here again. The worst room we have ever stayed in.
