We had a fantastic time at the Lords of the Manor, it really is an exceptional hotel. A very relaxed atmosphere and the staff make you feel at home as soon as you walk in. They were especially accommodating with our dog who stayed with us. The hotel gardens are huge and we’re a lot bigger than we thought, stretching down to the river. It’s a great place to explore the Cotswolds.

Very comfortable, all facilities good. Close to city centre. Room small (attic room) but that's what I paid for. Staff courteous and chatty and gave good advice. Not keen on the small TV in room but views more than made up for it. Tea, Coffee, biscuits, fresh milk, mini bar with local produce (mostly ciders), all very good. Breakfast was excellent with a highly varied and quality choice. En-suite clean, everything worked, plenty of goodies

The hotel is charming, elegant and comfortable in a wonderful setting. The restaurant service is excellent.
A couple of small points. It would be an addition to one of the 3 lounges if a bar were installed to add further atmosphere particularly in the evening. I was not asked if I would like a news paper in the morning, which I subsequently learnt was included in the rate. The coffee in the morning breakfast was very weak. Would I return? definitely.

We only stayed here for only one night as we were going to the races (which is only a 20 minute walk away) but was amazed at the lengths the owners had gone to to make their guests feel welcome. We arrived earlier than expected and rang to see if it was possible to get an early check in and that was no bother to the owners. The hotel was in an excellent location. The staff were very helpful and allowed us to check in 15 minutes early so that we could get to the theatre in plenty of time. Our twin room was spacious and very quiet. The beds were so comfortable and there was everything you could possibly need provided in the room. There was a great selection of food available at breakfast and the service was excellent. All in all it was a perfect break.

Stayed for one night, tried for two but was fully booked. Apart from one mishap where the shower drain would not drain away and when it did it left gunge on the floor of the shower.
However that would not deter us from staying again. Staff were excellent food was out of this world. Best night sleep l have ever had due to a bed that was 100%. Would recommend to anyone that wanted to stay in Moreton in Marsh.

We stayed here for a night and enjoyed the location and the nature. It’s peaceful and the hut was very clean. I wish to stay for more nights for my next visit.

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Worcester
Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Worcester is during January, February, and August, when hotel prices tend to be lower. For those looking to explore the city's rich history and cultural attractions, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended. This duration allows you to enjoy the stunning cathedral, picturesque gardens, and significant monuments, as well as experience the vibrant atmosphere along the river. Additionally, the friendly locals and opportunities for entertainment, such as rowing on the riverside, make Worcester a great value for money destination.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals to Worcester, visit the Dealsopens in new window or Last-Minute Dealsopens in new window section on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. Consider enabling email alerts or push notifications to stay informed about flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you don't miss potential savings. Additionally, the Smart Shoppingopens in new window tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, so you could find the best hotel deals in Worcester. This way, if rooms become available or prices drop, you’ll be among the first to know and can easily book your getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors like the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could potentially help you find a better deal on your stay in a Worcester hotel. For those in search of a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price seems a bit steep, we may suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable, assisting you in your search for a favourable rate.
Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but with Worcester's superb public transport links, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even some of the lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
