This was a perfect place for me to stay for one night after a long travel day flying into Lisbon from California. It was quiet, extremely centrally located in the Alfama district where everything is within walking distance (including the Castelo de São Jorge), and the staff was very nice. It also felt safe and secure.
The room was comfortable and clean. No frills, but all I needed was a place to nap, shower, lay down my luggage, explore the local area, and get a good nights sleep.
The downside was that the room was dark, with no view except for the space between the buildings. Zero ambiance.
That being said, I didn’t want to spend time in a room anyway. I wanted to get out and explore. The room was perfect for my needs, was inexpensive, and walking distance to a Metro station, but it’s not for everyone.
