I enjoyed the pool very much.

This chamber d’hotes is situated on a plateau above Sarlat, and has magnificent 360 degree views. The owners and hosts are very helpful and provide a lovely continental breakfast to start the day.

Idyllic setting, lovely facilities - a wee gem. Great views from the terrace and from the infinity pool. Owners were wonderful - Michael in particular was so helpful and informative about the local area. One minor caution.....book in advance if you want to eat there...we didn't so had to eat elsewhere. However this again was made even easier by Michael who booked/arranged everything for us.

Lovely room in an ideal location. Easy short walk to the town for dining options. Clean, comfortable room in a beautiful garden setting with a river at the end. Feels very relaxing and is ideal for seeing the Dordogne area. Owners are lovely and very helpful with suggestions for where to visit. Breakfast on the terrace was a delight. ONE WARNING - this property does not accept credit cards, however there is an ATM nearby.

Wow - what a fantastic place! Noel and Evelyne were excellent hosts, really friendly and kind. We stayed in La Borie which was absolutely amazing. The room itself is simple but perfectly comfortable and thoughtfully designed, however it is it's location that is wonderful. There were a couple of restaurants within walking distance which was great, and for breakfast Noel brought this to us on our terrace which was a delicious breakfast of local and homemade delights. Stayed here last year and again recently. Great location, good rooms, excellent facilities and lovely food at the restaurant. Recommended.

Agnes was amazing. Phoned ahead to say we would be delayed and arrive after front desk closed. Quickly sent a text to me detailing room no. Room code and wi-fi code. Took pressure off us on our late flight. Next morning she gave us some free coffees as we missed breakfast. A bubbly super friendly and helpful lady. Directions, iron borrowing etc. Room clean quiet cool (41 degrees outside!) Cleaning staff all running around motivated and efficient. Thoroughly recommended.

Make sure you paste the actual address in your Sat nav (don’t follow the links to maps as we ended up 25 away). After that everything here was just superb. This couple have a real eye for detail and standards; it was the best quality value of our road trip through France.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful market town. The room was clean with a very comfortable bed and had a Juliet balcony that opened up to the market street below. The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful with excellent communication prior to our stay. Breakfast was tasty and included some delicious scrambled eggs. We were only there for one night but I wish it was longer.

Hotel is in an excellent location with paid parking directly outside. The rooms were clean, fairly well equipped, and looked to have been recently renovated. Bedding and pillows were comfortable, although not luxury. Everything is within easy walking distance. There is a very basic bar on site, although it was fairly quiet during our stay, possibly due to travelling in shoulder season. We had a fantastic stay at Domaine Le Malet. The surroundings are truly beautiful. The host was very friendly. There were a couple of things that could have been improved as feedback for the host - 1. Communication at breakfast. We weren't aware we were able to bring breakfast out onto the terrace. This is a shame as we were only there for 1 night and this would have been much nicer than indoors. We saw others dining there only after we had already had breakfast. 2. There is a rule that you...

We had a wonderful stay despite the weather being mixed. The spa was a lovely treat when sitting by the pool wasn’t appealing - although make sure you book your hour as it fills up quickly. We had a lovely evening in the bar with music and tapas - it was meant to be in the rose garden but equally lovely.
