The coom was ok and the staff were nice too . Its described as a cottage but its a flat or apartment if you like . And the big downer is the health club is a 10 minute drive away and shuts at half 5 ( vheck in is at 4). Not wort 150 pound for a 1 night stay . The location is great but there are much nicer place's with a lot more amenities for that price .

Only thing that let it down was the extremely tight parking spaces and the excessively high cost of taking one dog. This really should be on a sliding scale of how many dogs are staying in the apartment.

We had a great stay here! The property was clean and had everything we needed (hoover, toaster, cutlery etc). It was nice and warm too. Very comfortable bed (no footboard so great for taller guests too). Very pleasant and helpful staff at reception and easy to check in/out. Location is great - walkable into the village, with safe parking outside the property. There is a bar next to the site and I was worried about the noise but we couldn't hear a thing from inside the property so had a great, peaceful weekend. Thank you! We will be back :)

Nice apartment for my wife and I to spend a couple of nights with our 1 year old daughter. There was plenty of room in the bedroom for the travel cot we brought with us, and they provided a high chair on arrival. The apartment was also dog friendly so our little pooch was able enjoy the trip with us (at a cost of £25 per night). The welcome pack did mention there was a free bag of dog treats available for dogs, but we didn't actually receive any. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed for the stay (even though we ate out). The weather wasn't great during our stay, but there is a small playground on site for kids to use, unfortunately we didn't get chance to. There was also a sort of games room (table tennis etc) which would be good for slightly older kids. The location is great, roughly a 5 - 10 minute walk down to the lake and shops/restaurants - I was pleasantly surprised how closer we were.

Lovely staff

This property is a collection of small apartment buildings with a shared main building featuring the amenities. The apartment itself was very nice. It was on the second level of the building which was accessible only by stairs making it a little challenging with luggage in the rain. The unit we stayed in had 2 bathrooms with a wheelchair accessible shower. This was a nice idea except the lack of a lift and a tall door jam at the front door all but excluded the idea that a person using a wheelchair may find themselves in the apartment. The kitchen was well equipped. The unit we stayed in had an induction stove and full sized refrigerator. The Tesco express is a short walk down the road so you can fill up your fridge and settle in. The laundry on-site is actually a pay laundry in the central building. It wasn’t working completely and I inadvertently spent more on a cold dryer cycle than I intended but the staff was very attentive and I imagine it will be back to working in no time. About the staff, they were very nice and quick to reply to messages in the Hotels.com app. We were delayed coming in and they were happy to leave the keys in the lockbox which allowed us to arrive on our schedule. They also shared a lot of tips on places to see in the area which was a huge help.
