One night stay
Room a bit dated but spacious and clean. Amenities fair. Location great. Staff approachable and helpful. Price average.

We were in room 1 which had its own balcony with a great view over to the Hoe and Smeatons Tower. It was wet so we didn’t use it but it’s sizeable with table and chairs. Parking right outside the door with £5 charge for overnight permit which was useful. Easy access to town and Hoe/Barbican. Six foot bed, firm as mentioned in other reviews. Take earplugs as room is above bar and can be noisy until the bar closes. Characterful pub too.

Would recommend this dog friendly pub.
Very friendly, helpful, staff. Easy check in. Hotel offers permits to park your car on road outside for £5 per day. Dog friendly. Nice food served in the pub. Only thing I would say is that the beds were uncomfortable and as the walls were thin you could here noise from other rooms. I would overall recommend the Pub On the Hoe. Location fantastic for a stay in Plymouth.

Great, friendly spot
Very friendly pub with good food, overlooking the Hoe. Staff really went out of their way to make sure we had a good time in Plymouth. We've already recommended to friends and will be back. Rooms are in separate building from pub, so we weren't disturbed at night.

Great pub accommodation
Great place, friendly staff, good choice of food and beer.

Great pub atmosphere with delicious meals and good service. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a bit disappointing as the shower was ridiculously small, the shower door opens inwards and was very difficult to close the door whilst in it. Bit odd that Breakfast isn’t served until 10.00am.

Very disappointed
We arrived and there was zero parking anywhere. The young woman who showed us to our room told me where to park. I then received a ticket. The hotel has not responded to my emails regarding this incident. They also didn’t help carry bags through the narrow hall and up three narrow sets of stairs.
