Very courteous staff. Charming hotel, with tidy rooms. Lovely ambience in the hotel and in the breakfast area. Decent breakfast with types of food as expected.
The room was clean, but probably would’ve benefited from a quick re-clean before check-in. Elevator a little old, but to be expected from a historic hotel.
The hotel uses actual metal keys, and has a policy of leaving the key on the reception desk with a name printed out on a piece of paper. This is a security issue that large chain hotels avoid. They should look into maintaining confidentiality as to which room you are going to be in.

Charming renovation of hotel and rooms. Loved the cozy lounge on 2nd floor and the lovely dining room.
Wished the bed pillows had been fluffier.

Great old hotel in a very cool small town in eastern Oregon. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was very good. Rooms are large and comfortable.

Absolutely beautiful property with the kindest staff. Dorothy was such a pleasure to talk to and the restaurant staff was also amazingly considerate and attentive (I’m so sorry we didn’t catch their names) we will absolutely be back one day. Rooms are spacious and clean thank you guys for a great time. We even extended our stay an extra night we liked it so much!

Delightful getaway spot.
Having the hotel as a home base was perfect for our day trips to see the amazing Painted Hills. And, at the end of the day, we loved relaxing in the cozy lounge area right on our floor. Everyone was really friendly and welcoming.
