There was an unpleasant strong smell from the bathroom but found that in many places in Istanbul so that wasn’t too great - perhaps to do with plumbing in Istanbul in general?. The view out the window was pretty nice though. It’s a decent hotel, mostly clean. Was really there to sleep and explore the city, decent price. Expect what you pay for. Staff were polite enough and eager to help. "

"This is a place full of character. 3 very old buildings on a hill overlooking the golden horn and Bosphorus. It has been restored and decorated to a high standard. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The roof terrace gives an amazing view. Unfortunately it was too cold to use the swimming pool. "

"Hotel was clean. Close to tourist areas. Tv remotes did not work and claimed there were elevators but none to be had. Also somewhat difficult to find. Streets very narrow for cars to access. They need to get one remote not use two to be able to use the tv. "
