Clean comfortable room, only gripe with room was the air con/air ducting units outside the window making noise so at night with wondow open found it difficult to get to sleep.
Spa & pool facilities were exceptional.
Restaurant food & service was good but the steak was bland. Not great for £35..
Cocktail Bar service extremely slow.
Waiter more interested in chatting than serving..
Wouldn't bother going there again.
Sports Bar lively great atmosphere watching the golf but sometimes almost a bit too loud.

The hotel is a beautiful and is an interesting building with a lovely golf course and grounds. Amazing ball room for big functions. The bedrooms are very hot with no air conditioning. The food in the Sports Bar was rather bland and dry. Breakfast was of average quality.
