7.5/10
Room for four was simple but all that we needed. Clean and comfortable beds and good working condition bathroom. Hanger/wardrobe space and tea/coffee/fridge facilities. We were able to store our luggage in the luggage room on day of arrival and departure, though the tagging system isn’t very efficient and is left for customers to do themselves so I wouldn’t trust leaving valuable items there. Our room was in the basement which was unfortunately extremely noisy each morning with other guests using stairs/ luggage room above our heads. If you are sensitive to noise request an upstairs room. You can also hear the hum of trains / tubes in the basement rooms which may or may not be okay for some. Fresh towels were delivered every day. Overall lived up to value and would stay again for a short budget trip.

Watch out for the small print in the booking I had to pay a £100 deposit on my room with my card and they said it will take 14 days to get it back in my account

The receptionist wasn't friendly. And couldn't wait to get back to his computer. Gave us our door card told us we were in the 4th floor pointed down some steps and said the lift is down there and disappeared into the back room. The hotel needs some tlc. The lift only goes to the 3rd floor. We were on the 4th. Which once we got to the 3rd floor involved carrying our bags down a flight of stairs and then up a flight. ( In narrow corridors) The room was small but ok. The tv wouldn't switch off And the lock on the door didn't work. The morning receptionist was much more helpful

Cheap for London - clean and OK for the night
Directly opposite Kings Cross this is very convenient. It is cheap but clean. As somewhere to just sleep it is fine.

Best deal for the money
Fantastic location for the price. Kings Cross underground is right across the street. You can catch the Piccadilly train all the way to London Heathrow airport. You can also get to almost all the attractions in under 15 minutes. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel but walked 9 minutes to Pinner Cafe for an excellent full English breakfast for about £10. It definitely shows its age but I’d stay here every time I come back.

Nice overnight stay at Kings Cross
Overnight stay for my adult family of five. We had the family room which was perfect with two bathrooms and a separate room. Better than I expected.

Outdated & smelly
This hotel is dated. Needs repair, smells like damp stale water (we slept with window open) & doesn't pay attention to detail. The premier Inn would’ve been so much worth the extra £10… lesson learnt

Not again
On booking my two day break I was advised breakfast was included, however when I did ask about it on arrival I was told room only. The rooms are dated with holes in the wall filled in with poly filler. We were not shown where the bar or restaurant was, there was no information about the hotel in the room either. On return from to the hotel later in the evening you had to knock to get in which is not great. The photos are more nicer that inside the hotel itself.dark hair on the shower walls definitely not ours. Last thing there is building work going opposite the hotel which I was not told about or in the details on the hotel.com website.
