Excellent - look forward to staying here again
Excellent service from the moment we arrived laden with bags. Room was lovely as was bathroom. Bed was vast! Very comfortable. Drinks in the bar were very good and we had a really lovely meal in the restaurant. Would definitely choose to stay here again.

Wonderful Staff
We have stayed here many times and the location, service, accommodation and food are all excellent. The staff always provide excellent service and couldn't be more friendly or helpful. In the heart of London next to the palace you can walk through the park and have easy access to the city (also tube station just around the corner). It is away from the hustle and bustle of the busy tourist spots and is in a quieter location next to the palace. Its nice to start and finish your day walking past the palace. This time we ate in the restaurant and felt truly pampered by the staff they were so attentive and helpful, the food was extremely good and whilst it was an expensive meal for us it was a 5 star meal & service and a special treat for us as it was part of a mini break to London (theatre trip). The doorman was lovely, friendly and a good laugh and very smart in his redcoat. Thank you to all the staff - its the people here that make the difference - your staff are invaulable - without them its just another hotel - good service deserves recognition and you get 5 stars from us.

Staff were so polite & helpful. Very traditional decoration throughout. Ate in the grill restaurant - excellent food & waiter service. Bedrooms were cosy, bed on the small side.

The Rubens hotel
The bedroom was much smaller than expected for the price, there was hardly space to walk around the bed as one suitcase had to be left in the floor. There was a problem finding space to place the tray when making coffee in the morning. Why cannot the deposit be returned in checking out instead of having to wait for 10 days? The staff were fantastic but the size of the room did not justify the cost.
