The Rubens At The Palace
Very Good8.0
Gin tasting and theatre trip
We decided to stay at The Rubens as it is a Red Carnation hotel and we have had good experiences at other hotels in this group. The staff were very welcoming as expected. We were given a room upgrade which was great. The room was small but very comfortable and the bed lovely. The only negative was the toilet bowl which still contained the contents left by the previous occupant. We had a very tasty curry when we came back in the evening. We would definitely come back.

great stay - would visit again
we had a great time at the weekend in London staying at this hotel. the staff were fantastic, polite and engaging. the room was lovely looking over the Royal Mews however the bed was not as comfy as it could have been and was only a double (Victoria room). The bathroom was great and shower lovely. Lots of storage and bathrobes and slippers provided (and towels). the restaurant (English grill) served amazing food - fillet of steak followed by creme brûlée with white port on the side. Absolutely 5star!! `the hotel was so close to Victoria station and ideal for Buckingham palace and the parks.

Fabulous staff
The staff at this hotel are some of the nicest and considerate I have met. During our visit my daughter had a nasty fall whilst at the Theatre and we spent the night in A&E. On our return to the hotel the following morning the staff arranged a long check out extension so that we could have some sleep and even arranged to have tea sent to the room. Very considerate and thoughtful and just what we needed after a long stressful night. Thank you x

We stayed at this hotel as part of my birthday treat for my husband and we were certainly not disappointed - wow from start to finish it was perfect. They had left a choc torte with Happy Birthday message I’m our top - special touch. We will be back
