Dolphin House Serviced Apartments

Booked this hotel with clubcard points. Made it a very cheap stay. We were very impressed with everything - location, staff, smart foyer, spacious beautifully appointed apartment, warm, comfortable, so quiet. We will definitely stay here again.

Booked a two bed apartment the day before I messaged hotel via the booking informing them my mum was a wheelchair user so we therefore needed a lift or ground floor. Upon arrival they charged my credit card and only after this did they say a lift was broken so they were calling security for them to carry my mum up the stairs. As you can imagine I was appalled and was then informed that they were full and it was my own fault as the booking agent hadn’t told them a wheelchair user was in party. In the end they gave me two one bedroom apartments which were at least 250 yards apart and left me in the position that I had to leave my disabled mum and a child in one apartment on their own I would never step foot in the Dolphin Apartments again and would not recommend it to anyone

We have stayed many times at Dolphin House. We have very specific requirements that this hotel manages to fullfil: wheelchair accessibility; facility to prepare our own food; a quite, comfortable accommodation; no strong perfumes or scented cleaning products because of multiple chemical sensitivity; great location with disabled or subsidised on street parking nearby; gym facilities on site. The staff are very friendly and always try to allocate us a room that we have used before.

No queue at check in, friendly professional staff. Room very spacious and clean. Used the swimming pool on the Saturday morning but it was far too busy, but lovely and warm and clean. Great location would highly recommend!

we really enjoyed our stay. great appartment with hotel-service. only little 'complaint' is that the whole building and all the apartments are very warm/hot
