beds and soundproof
I had 2 single beds and one of them was not comfortable to sleep on and also not secure to sit on, the wheels were not secured and whenever I sit on it it swings all over the room. Also the room is not soundproofed... the train sound was very clear and also nearby rooms noise was v clear

Comfortable hotel but in need of major makeover
The hotel is in a great location, just a few minutes walk from High Street Kensington. The hotel team were extremely helpful and attentive. The hotel is clean also. The hotel is in much need of a refurbishment, it is tired and old fashioned, with the furniture in the rooms not being in great condition, albeit the bed was comfy. Check in was extremely busy too even with lots of staff working.

Stated Restaurant hours are meaningless!
Twin bed double room, one bed sloped so that one could fall out whilst asleep, other side of bed against a wall, very noisy fridge during the night. We based our one night stay to have a meal at 10pm after a theatre trip as the Hotel erbsite clearly states "last food orders 10;45 (this was Saturday night), on arriving at said time we were told the restaurant was now closed and the chef had gone home! We were vey disappointed , reception suggested "Macdonalds", we ate elsewhere and didn't enjoy our meal as it was rushed as it was now 10;20 and they were closing. Really the hotel cannot publish information that is incorrect and misleading !

Great location, lovely staff, basic rooms.
Great location, lovely staff and the lobby was lovely. I would say the bedrooms are more 3 star quality than 4. Specifically with our room the toilet handle did not flush and the phone to ring reception did not work even when we plugged it in as was unplugged. Also cleaners knocked at our door at 8:30am asking to clean our room when checkout is not untill 11 and we hadn’t checked out.

Very enjoyable stay.
We stayed in the Copthorne Tara for three nights and were highly satisfied with the quality of service and friendliness of the staff. The hotel breakfast was excellent and the general level of comfort was impressive. Our bedroom on the 10th floor was quiet and spacious. The hotel is close to shops and restaurants and also a short walk to the Underground. Highly recommended.

Great Singaporean restaurant
The rooms were basic but clean. Breakfast is very busy. Hotel is very close to the underground also the No 9 bus is a great way to travel into central London. Highlight for us was Bugi’s the Singaporean restaurant. Great food. So good we went again for a second night.

Horrible costumer services
The young lady at the front desk “Bellista” I believe is her name was extremely rude . Service in general was very poor . They won’t assist you at all. Only a couple people were welcoming and cordial from the staff we encountered. Breakfast was horrible , a buffet that was always empty and they wouldn’t fill it immediately. The location is probably the only positive thing about this hotel , you are close to the train station , restaurants, shopping , busses stops , coffee shops.
