"Stayed 5 nights at this hotel. Very nice room, we somehow snagged an upgrade and the room was quite spacious. Also best bed and bedding we slept in during our three weeks in Switzerland. Hotel is clean and quiet. Breakfast was very nice, and the other meals we took at the hotel were good as well. View from our room was breathtaking, looking down the Lauterbrunnen valley. Location is a 7 minute walk to the train station, and the hotel offers pick up and drop off on arrival and departure. Cable car is about 5 minute walk from the hotel. Highly recommend, and would definitely stay again."

"Stayed three nights on vacation with the wife. Overall nice hotel, very opulent, nice buffet breakfast. Area was safe and close to the train station, but about a 12 minute walk across town from the lift station, so bear that in mind if using the lift and not the train. One not so good thing was the room, it had a weird configuration. There was a support beam running diagonally across the room, and the bed was mainly in the middle of the room, not against a wall. This made the room 'choppy' with no good paths to move around, and increased the risk of running into something accidently. If considering to stay here, ask to be sure not to get a room like ours. Wish I had taken a pic so readers could understand how problematic this layout really was."

"This hotel was a wonderful surprise. The staff was extremely friendly, and the small touches on arrival — water bottles, coffee, and croissants — made us feel very welcome. "We had someone in the room above us that sounded like they were lifting weights or throwing something around until after midnight. The floor is very thin and the noise kept us awake. While not really the hotel’s fault it happened. Same with the heat wave at the time. It was hot and difficult to sleep. Overall we did like the hotel. It has a wonderful view."
