Stayed here for six nights and experienced one of the most horrifying nightmare in my life. Arrived in London without any sleep on the plan for twelve hours, what waited was a heater-broken room, cleaned up yet outdated tiny room. For the second night, I've asked the receptionist to show me how to turn on the heater and this guy showed me how. For more than 20 minutes I couldn't hear any sounds nor any heat coming out from the heater so asked him to come back and see what's wrong. He was so annoyed by the fact that I didn't wait enough time. It was 12am and I had to get my sleep for I had meetings whole day next day. He said I have to wait for the heater to work and said the heater is fine, but after shivering and sitting in the room for 50 minutes, it turned out that the heater was not working. I complained and they changed my room next day, but no one from the hotel ever apologised to me. I would definitely expect, from my previous experiences, that if this kind of thing happens in a hotel, a manager should come and apologise for its mistake. Not to mention that the rooms are very different from the photos shown here, I can't agree that this hotel is actually a hotel. This hotel seems to rent two parts of the apartments and run them as a hotel, so do expect to stay across the street from the reception, if you still choose to stay here.

ood location. Okay stay
Okay but not as good as it looked on the photos. Room smaller than we imagined. Bed not that comfortable. Two lights in ceiling missing which I reported to reception but were not fixed so room quite dark. WiFi although showing bars did not work so I had to turn my WiFi off to get connection. location was fantastic.

Great location but little else...
We chose this hotel based upon other reviews and it’s location. The good first; the location. It is in a fantastic location. Now the bad; this hotel is a converted apartment building. Consequently, we were giving a room across the street in the basement. It was dark and had a chemical smell that is obviously used to hide musty/mould. My nose was burning. The walls are paper thin and you can hear every thing above and around you. As would would expect in a century old house. Not great for a hotel experience though. There was no mattress pad/protector on the mattress which I personally found disgusting. We woke up sleeping directly on the mattress because the small thin sheets pull off. This is not the norm for Europe. I travel for a living and have never seen this. The room is nicely appointed otherwise and the make good use of the tiny space. It is fine for 1 night but I would never stay here longer. Maybe the higher rooms would be better ( remember though, there is no lift at this hotel ) but the staff are helpful at carrying your bags upstairs for you. To summarize, fantastic location is it’s selling feature. Good staff as well but less than desirable bedding, rooms- ( basement ) are smelly and loud. Also, high price for what it is. There are better option near by. We had to find something last minute so we had no choice.

Very good 8.0
decent rooms , professional staff, annoying bells
Good stay. staff was friendly and professional! we stayed in their second building across the street on the top floor. bed was pretty stiff , not to our liking. we were woke up every morning by loud church bells around 7:45am. if you dont mind getting woke up then i wouldn't worry; but if not id ask to stay the main building . hope this is helpful

A nice stay!
Not a bad stay at all. Friendly staff and stylish rooms in a great location! Unfortunately, there were a few details that missed the mark for me (e.g. no toothbrush mug, some damage to furniture, only one plug socket) and the breakfast wasn't that good but overall it was a nice stay.
