Fabulous stay within minutes of Kings Cross
Was greeted by friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean and comfortable. Had to call maintenance and they were there within minutes and fixed the problem. I would definetly recommend this hotel.

London weekend
There was a very odd smell on our floor (4th floor) when you came out of the lift but once in our room you couldn't smell anything, the pool area looked a little tired (broken tiles around the pool and pool steps cordoned off) but it didnt stop our use of the pool area which my 5 year old loved. Overall i would stay again

Quite good with some let downs
The rooms were quite small and there js a glass door to the bathroom which is a but annoying and doesnt allow much privacy! There werent enough cups, towels or biscuits etc for the number of guests. No robes. The pool is nice and the breakfast was good, staff were all friendly. Beds comfy.

Good location for Kings Cross!
Nice hotel with a good location to Kings Cross (walking distance). Wording re children and pool could be a little better as I thought that Sat/Sunday they could go in from 7.30 am but they can't it's 8.30 am. Other than that a good stay.

Good 6.0
First up, on check in they said my little girl would have to pay for breakfast. I pointed out how expensive the breakfast was and asked why, when I was clearly booking for 2 adults and 1 child, why breakfast was not included. i also pointed out that she is six and is not going to eat a lot. They eventually allowed her to have breakfast at no extra cost. We then went to the swimming pool. Extra money again. I pointed out that the hotel was advertised with a swimming pool and it was not obvious it was extra. Ended up paying, but the jacuzzi was out of action - ended up negotiating a second free swimming session. The first room we had was on the first floor. They told us it was no smoking which we thought it would be as we thought it was illegal to smoke in side such places. But our room stank of cigarettes. They said it was probably as a result of smoke in the corridor. They did move us to another floor. No smell. But it seems floor one is the 'cheap' floor... floor seven room was exactly the same layout, but with three differences: it has a free kit kat, it has a free bottle of orange juice and they vacuumed under the beds (which they did not do on floor one). So if you get given floor one, ask for another floor!

Quality, comfortable hotel, minor family negatives
This is a good quality hotel as you would expect from this major brand. Our room was smart and comfortable, the service was professional and friendly and there are plenty of dining options within the hotel. The fridge and ironing board/iron as well as complimentary water/juice in the room was a nice extra touch and the wet room style/rainfall shower option we chose was excellent, though a bath option is available too. Room service was fast and breakfast was excellent. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would likely book again for the right price. If I had to offer a couple of minor negatives from the point of view of a family visit, firstly this hotel is a not excessive but certainly an extended walk from the Underground, which means paying extra for taxis if with young family. We could see this before we booked, so not the hotel's fault, but we did spend more on taxis than expected and would factor that into the price decision next time. Also, with the extra sofa bed extended our room became pretty cramped and we were always pushing the desk chair up and down out of the way. No biggie, but less than ideal. Finally, we booked for 3 people with breakfast included, so were a bit disappointed to be asked to pay an extra £6 daily charge for a child's breakfast. It's not much, but unexpected extra charges that you think you've paid for aren't too great a welcome. The hotel might want to review that. But overall, a very good stay, thanks very much!

Fair 4.0
The room was dated and bed/ pillows both uncomfortable. Like a boiling pot even with the air con on.
