Lovely hotel

Really nice hotel, good location close to tube stations, Hyde park and restaurants. Reception was big, open and clean, the hotel is undergoing renovation and all the areas i saw were new and nicely decorated. My room was comfortable, well equipped and clean.

Great location

Excellent location, close to Kensington Gardens, transport, food etc. I was traveling solo and stayed in small double room which was small. Would have been cramped with two pps. Small hanging space was only space provided for clothes. Terrible light plastic drink cups for water, etc. Stayed three nights and no change in breakfast menu which was limited and boring. Excellent staff.

They are in the process of remodeling this hotel and it is absolutely gorgeous. It was clean and smelled new. The house keeping staff were top notch and the front desk people were willing to help us in any way. We arrived earlier than check-in time and they gave us complementary early check-in because a room was available. The best part about this hotel was the location. There are two tube stops within close walking distance and there are lots of souvenir shops and eating places only two blocks away.

I booked 4 nights and I got a small room with no aircon. It was literally 100 degrees C in the room when we artived. Next day we could change for a room with aircon which was hood. Big + for the staff for helping out. The hotel is under renovation so standard is still poor, but the room was clean and beds were comfortable.

Great location, clean, modern hotel

Nice hotel, great location, modern, clean. AirCon was a bit dodgy on a sweltering weekend. Only drawback were front of house staff. None of them could muster a smile or word of welcome between them. I was quite surprised. Only exception was exceptional barman who was lovely and helpful. Hotel being renovated but didn't impact on my weekend visit. Just a little customer service refresher may be in order and this place would be 10 out of 10.

The room was ok and bigger than expected. however, not renovated. The bed was to hard and the pillows was too hard. The staff in the reception could be a bit more welcoming. It is the first hotel we have stayed in that we could not borrow a glass from the bar. We could only get small and cheap plastic glassed to bring to the room. But, overall, we had a good stay!

There was scaffolding and a lift right outside our window and when we opend the curtains in the morning, there were workers working right outside our window.
