Such a shame but needs love.
Check in was easy and the Lady was very polite. Room was spacious but tired. I’d ordered an upgraded room and Kingsize bed. Unfortunately it was Two singles pushed together. Bathroom was tired and paint peeling from window frames. Went down for breakfast and usual spread of English breakfast and a few muffins. Opted for the Full English as don’t often have one. It lacked in taste and left it. Checked out and left. Won’t be back.

The hotel we booked was amazing webpage but when we get there it is not, staying building is looklike prison or soviet war building really. Those photos are not include hotel photos. And this is not fair, they do not show their hotel correctly, also other guests were dissapointed eith the hotel building. Entrance, reception amazing but hotel room building not.I wznt you to tslk woth the hotel to be honest with the photos snd include their page as well! Breakfast was nice, the lady was very helpful. I will never recommend thid hotel and won't stay there again.

Key card didn’t work three times on day of departure and delayed our departure by 30mins. Bath tap: the cold water was still very hot and ran a bath only to use a bottle of water and refill it 20 times and leave bath to cool for 20mins. Breakfast was mediocre, it was busy but felt it was not up to standard. Room was big and spacious and garden pretty to sit in. Main house reception area impressive building. The main outside of some room near far car park needs cleaning up or painting as black polluted walls don’t make the hotel look inviting. Lots of wood work needs refurbishment.

4/10 Fair

Dissapointing
When we first arrived all looked lovely friendly staff but we were given a map and key card for our room, so followed instructions and was very disappointed when we arrived at the complex we were staying in and saw no photos on line of this it was like a prison block grey building with lots of windows. We went up to our room and as we had a twin room booked noticed only one set of towels. Not one to complain but my mother is 81 and when we put TV on no subtitles either so rang reception about towels and TV nobody came up to room so called reception again someone came up but couldn't sort the telly out, also the jacuzzi was not working and the bedroom was really hot no air con so didn't sleep well and breakfast was not good either the sausages were awful. Wouldn't stay here again 🙁😢

We had a lovely time during our, stay at this spa hotel. Staff were always friendly, said hello as walking past in the hallways. Everything about our stay was good. Perhaps a little tired in places but for a bolthole getaway from hustle and bustle it was perfect for a long weekend away break. The large bed in the Ridings suite was fab. Breakast offered all what youd'd expect from fried to fruit, needs updating a little to take things u p a notch...fresh bread to cut, fresh tomatoes. Worth noting, a wedding took place but the size of the hotel meant it absorbed any impacts it may have had on noise levels etc . So everyone was happy.

The staff were always happy and were extremely helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the room was a good size. The grounds were extensive and we enjoyed walking in the gardens particularly the Italian garden with the beautiful pond. We stayed in the main hotel but I must say it needs a little TLC. Apart from that we had a wonderful relaxing holiday, so much so we stayed an extra night.
