This is a popular, friendly, quietly elegant and sustainable hotel. We were made welcome and graciously accommodated when the room wasn't quite suitable to our needs. The small restaurant has an interesting, eclectic and healthy choice of dishes. The young staff were warm and well-trained in a natural, conversational way. Well-located for Paddington Station, yet quietly positioned, I would happily stay here again.

The design of all areas of the hotel is very calm and attractive in an understated manner just like advertised: it is a relief from the busy world out there. The health oriented food was great, service very friendly and responsive. The beds a touch firm to my liking and some room features looked and felt really nice, but were slightly impractical. The location between the Paddington station and Hyde Park is excellent. Overall, a great choice and better alternative to most of the other hotels in the area.
