The Old Mill Hotel

8/10 Good
"The room was clean, but small. It was nice that they provide a free continental breakfast every morning. They don’t have a lot to offer as far as their menu the rest of the day though. I like that they have a working water wheel out there, but I only got to see it briefly for a few minutes since it was only on for a brief time during our stay. If you stay there take advantage of the public foot paths and wander around because the area is absolutely gorgeous. The room has good circulation. It was nice that they let us store our baggage before check-in."

"Breakfast and helpful receptionist very good. I booked this hotel as it had an EV charger. Our neighbours in the room nextdoor were a bit noisy, but no fault of the hotel. The duvets were too warm for a summer's day, and only read the bit about asking for a sheet too late."

For those in search of distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. 4. Consider your location: Staying nearer to key attractions or city centres may provide convenience, but it often comes with higher costs.
