The venue is very well maintained, quite pretty with lots of green and the room was clean, tidy and equipped with iron and board, too. Food was fine. I had a nice staying. Staff could do with a bit more of customer service skills, they weren’t the most friendly people, they wouldn’t acknowledge customers walking in and they preferred talking to each other, but they were young and I guess lots to learn still. Other than that, everything was good.

We had a great 1 night stay. The upgraded room was basic but clean and had all we need. Paintwork was a bit shabby and nothing special. The breakfast was fantastic, great service and lovely food. Unfortunately there were a couple of negatives. We requested a king bed but when we arrived at our room quite late, we had single beds. The next day staff opened our door without knocking over an hour before checkout. The room was very hot and we couldn’t get the room to cool using the conditioning unit. Opening windows not an option cos we were right next to the noisy main road.

The cottages housing the rooms are small but well designed. They are near the road but this is very quiet at night. The golf course looked in very good condition and though we didn't play it on this occasion, we will play next time we visit.
