Lovely aroma
Smooth check-in, clean room with a very pleasant smell. I had booked a windowless room because they were the cheapest. The noise from passing underground trains could disturb some guests in these basement rooms. But choose a room with a window and you won’t hear the tube.

Rooms are clean, We stayed in the windowless room option. Couple of issues, you can hear the tube in the rooms (in our room at least which was 17) and the music from upstairs during the day. The tube keeps going past midnight and starts up again at 05:00 in the morning so its not a restful night sleep. The fire light doesn't allow you to make the room fully dark either which kept me awake. The staff are lovely, its a good location, I just wouldn't ever go for the windowless option its not worth it! the rooms are fine and comfortable apart from the above.

Great location, clean and friendly
The hotel is in a great location for getting anywhere in London. The room and property was clean and staff is friendly and helpful. The green light on the fire alarm was bright enough to light up the whole room and do shadow puppets if you desired. Also you can hear and feel the Tube go by if you are staying on the lower level. However the tube noise was not at all bad but the light was a bit disturbing to sleep.

Pillows!
We book a small room with no window for a busy trip to London as we knew we would be spending very little time in the room. Great location, friendly staff and clean. Only negative was the pillow, very flat and uncomfortable and made the sleep uncomfortable. House keeping said they would get us another but must have forgot.
