Poor 2.0
Second time staying here, first stay no problem was in 3rd floor room so stairs was bit of work as no lift but no issues. This time was stuck in room 108 which is basement terrible room constant noise no sleep roller blind that doesn’t close fully so lights from above stairwell always flashing on off. Hotel is perfect location but make sure you stay in second of third floor

Perfect stay
This is a perfectly good hotel with clean quirky decor. Great bedroom with lovely bedding. Great stay all round and what a wonderful location for exploring London.

Nice, if a bit noisy.
This is a lovely, quirky hotel. Only a couple of things to note - it’s loud. An old building so the traffic noise is significant and the corridor floors are laminate, so when people start to move luggage around in the morning you know about it!! Easily solved though - take some earplugs. The ceiling bed was unexpected but rather novel, and nice and comfortable. I definitely needed the step!

Comfortable but basic room.
Our room was on the top floor and the bed was against the all under a velux window. We had to shut the blind to stop the condensation dripping on us. The bed was comfortable and the room perfectly adequate for what we needed. The only downside was that the room was cold and there weren't any thermostats to turn on.

Poor 2.0
No hot water terrible, bad service.
No hot water. When asked to be compensated the next morning for inconvenience was advised we would receive a discount off a future stay. Given that we had a freezing cold shower before a long flight and were woken up in the early hours with heavily excessive noise from above and in corridor a return is highly unlikely. Avoid staying in basement rooms. Far too noisy and had minimal sleep.

Lovely little hotel
I had a really small compact double room but for one night I didnt care one bit as it was nicely decorated and to a high standard, had everything i needed was cosy and warm. I have stayed in other hotels around this area and for the price this was by far the best. would stay here again

Great front desk, great location, but can be noisy
I love the front desk service, the great happy hour and the outside terrace. I don't love the tiny staircase especially when there are noisy guests bouncing their way up and down at all hours. Grr.
