Great hotel but small rooms
This hotel is centrally located literally across the street from the Tower of London. It is quiet and the rooms are clean, if small. In fact the rooms are about the size of a cruise ship stateroom, so if you are travelling with a lot of luggage you may have trouble storing it all. Couples may also be in each other's way. Bed is large and very comfy and warm. The smart room controls through the ipad are good, and there is air conditioning and heat as needed (not always available in London hotels). You are steps from the tower and bridge, however, and right on top of Tower Hill underground stop. If you don't want the pre-paid breakfast you can buy items a la carte. I recommend if you plan to not be in your room much.

Coolest hotel ever
This is by far the coolest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s a bit intimidating when you walk in, at least in the evening after a long flight when the lobby is ROCKING and you are lugging your bags through what feels like a happening club! Once you locate the self serve kiosks and code your room key, you’re off to your room and, if you’re like my colleague and I, you haven’t even had contact with a hotel employee! The rooms are teeny and intentional with everything a traveler needs for a short stay. The bed is ample and super comfortable. While the rooms are small, the bathrooms are ample and the shower pressure a delightful refreshing wake up. There is traveler eye candy everywhere with quotes and quips about traveling and travelers, iconic British literature and artifacts all over the walls, a beautiful common ironing room on each floor, a roof top bar that feels like a library slash informal meeting area. (It doesn’t serve any food - weird - and the restaurant downstairs doesn’t serve the same awesome selection of drinks - so you’re either eating OR drinking.) The food for all meals was healthy and excellent and I was able to get a proper cup of coffee after weeks of traveling in non-coffee regions. Small complaints: The food is insanely expensive. It would be nice to see staff and be welcomed in some way. There are iPads to control lighting, window shades, etc. This is a cool concept but both mine AND my colleague’s crapped out.

Very good 8.0
Great location. Right off the Tube. Across from Tower of London. St. Katherine’s Pier is a quick walk w plenty of restaurants. The rooms are small, as they are known for. But w comfortable king size bed. The lobby is huge w plenty of comfortable seating. My only complaint is they put us in handicap room that hade huge bathroom and smaller room. I don’t know why they would check people into that room if those requirements aren’t needed. The AC was not working. Maintenance came, did some adjustments and said wait an hour. Still not working. But they were nice enough to change my room and provide a fan because they said the AC doesn’t blow out. And the new room didn’t get as cold as I like. Thankfully w the fan, I had great nights sleep.

Good 6.0
It's a shame when a hotel gets everything right and then one employee blows it in the 11th hour by refusing to do the right thing. We travelled all the way from Seattle and had a great 3-night stay. The servers in the bar were awesome, the room was perfect and the hotel was in an awesome location next to the Tower Hill station. We pre-paid for breakfasts (around $17USD) and later regretted it because the food was just sp-so but we didn't worry about it because at least it was convenient. On our last day there we came down for breakfast about 10 minutes before they put food away because we were scrambling to get packed up to check out. What was left of breakfast was pretty dismal - they were out of several items and of the remaining, much of it appeared to have been sitting for quite a while and didn't look too appetizing. I politely explained the situation to the woman (Christina I think) at the check-in and asked if we could just remove that day's charge from the bill and she gave a flat out no. She said let her know what we wanted to eat and she'd have someone go in the back and get it. We had a flight to catch (plus that seemed a little complicated) so I asked her again. My husband came down just then and politely asked her why and she said "those are the rules." He commented that it didn't seem like a very fair policy and she replied shortly "Well I think it is" and basically ended the conversation. It sadly tainted what could have been a 5 star experience.

Excellent location, spotless, personable staff.
Excellent choice. Beautiful decor, clean, excellent location. Underground subway system was right next to the hotel which made traveling so easy. The view from the terrace was the Tower of London. The staff was very helpful with directions. Would highly recommend it. We also used Citzens M in Paris. You will not be disappointed. We travel a lot and this hotel was one of the best choices we have made. Don't hesitate to use them. We picked the hotel based on other reviews we had read. The hotel is ultramodern. No carpet in the rooms which I LOVE. Wi-FI was fast. Computers were available for your use which comes in handy to print vouchers or train passes. You won't be disappointed.
