Great hotel, right in the Center, many dining options and walking distance to places. The hotel restaurant and bar were both great. We had dinner there twice. The only detail is that the hotel does not accept cash, only card (something to keep in mind) I highly recommend it if you are staying in Edinburgh with kids.

Hi Mike from Manchester on a 1 day visit to Edinburgh Check in was to late at 3pm The pool was small. I was asking to fill a form in if I wanted to use the pool and then ring down to see if it was full or not. I went down to the bar at two minutes past one. I was told only room service was available but there was still people drinking at the bar.Then charged £5 to have it brought to the room
