Really lovely hotel, perfect stay!
The hotel was lovely. We had a nice big room, with a beautiful seaview. The bed was very comfortable & we had breakfast brought to the room, which was a lovely start to our day. We used the swimming pool, which was warm. The swimming pool area was very run down, lots of chipped paint, but the area was useable. Really lovely stay, will be staying again later in the year.

Very nice but a bit scruffy in the bedrooms
Bedroom was beautiful because of the view of the sea, the balconey, the size of the rooms, they were huge because we were in a suite and even the bathroom was huge. For the price I was suprised how scruffy the carpets, paintwork soap dispensers were and the inside pool and jacuzzi were closed. Staff were really lovely both on reception and int he restaurant. Would recommend new carpets in the bedrooms and a quick paintjob on the doors to make it value for money..

Ok, but need work in the hotel
Weather and location were great, our booking wasnt in their computer records, so the romm wasnt ready until late. Very long queue at reception and seemed under staffed. The place needs a lot of TLC. The breakfast was good.

The outdoor pool was closed for our entire stay - which was extremely disappointing as this was the main reason for choosing this hotel. Indoor pool was only open for half our stay as well.

We were very dissapointed with this hotel .curtains were threadbare .furniture was old and shabby.carpets a little dirty .common areas filthy unkept .staircases were so dusty and dirty .bathroom very dated and patched up.shabby gym .outdoor pool was out of action the whole stay and the jaccusi wasnt working sunday .all a little sad as we chose the carlton for the swimming facilities.

Restaurant excellent food and service. Check in before 4pm impossible. Bathroom nice but shower head blocked, about 4minute jets - CLEAN! Decalsify. Black mould in bath sealant. A spray of bleach daily and it will be gone. Other than that a very pleasant stay.
