Very small hostel...
Well, it's generally a nice and indeed really small hostel. The room was tiny and I had the upper bed next to the window. The air ventilation did not work well and it was insanely hot the first two nights. And when keeping the one window open it was too cold for others who slept below. Really not nice...

Not bad for a hostel
Not bad, would consider booking again. I liked the location and the fact that there was a curtain for privacy, also there was a small shelf and a power outlet. The bed was comfortable. There wasn't too much air in the room and the air condition did not seem to be working that well. It was hot and humid even in winter with 12 people sleeping there. Also, there was a window from my bed to a patio with no covers that opened automatically during the siesta, letting in 4 degree air from the outside.

Best hostal in Madrid, great location like 4 min away from Plaza de España and Palacio Real, a lot of supermarkets around it and coffee shops, for the price is one of the best hostels there is and it’s super comfortable, has a kitchen and fridge so you can save your food

If you value good service after a long journey when checking in at a hostel, I would suggest considering an alternative hostel or hotel. (Specifically, I am referring to the night staff, which consists of a young woman and a young man.) That said, if service is not your primary concern, I would still recommend this place. It is compact but fulfills the necessary requirements and is conveniently located near a metro station.
