Second Nature Southampton
"The location could not have been better for our cruise. It is located perfectly next to a very historic section of the city and also within walking distance of good pubs and restaurants. The bar/restaurant was very nice and the breakfast was excellent. Checking in and out was easy and the hotel staff was pleasant and most helpful. We would definitely stay again."
The Crown Manor House Hotel
"Great place to stay to explore the Newforest. The hotel is full of character with some amazing features like the enormous fireplace in the lobby. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet with a huge bed. Breakfast was lovely and the staff friendly. Would definitely recommend."
New Place
"Beautiful main house. The leisure facilities are fab"
Portsmouth Marriott Hotel
"We stayed here for two nights before our South Hampton Cruise departure. It was a great price compared to the prices near South Hampton Cruise Terminal. The staff was accommodating. They assisted us with getting a taxi from the mall back to the hotel. The Breakfast was really great. We had no issues checking in or out, they refunded the the hold on our card straight away. I would recommend."

"Nice hotel, friendly staff."
DoubleTree by Hilton Southampton
"The staff were extremely helpful and the restaurant served an awesome fish and chips. Our server (Viro?) was exceptional."
Holiday Inn Portsmouth by IHG
"Close to town centre and attractions, clean, comfy bed. Spa was very good."
Harbour Hotel Southampton
"Promised free shuttle to ship but no shuttles available paid for cab ourselves when hotel should have paid for it"
Macdonald Botley Park Hotel & Spa
"The hotel staff at the reception were very helpful and so welcoming. However there was one member of staff in the laundry room who came across like she couldn’t be bothered helping when I asked her for a clean towel for the swimming pool area because the one she pointed me towards smelt really damp so I wanted a clean one and she just ignored me so I helped myself. The hotel- the cleanliness was not great. The room was quite outdated and the bed sheets had this damp smell. My daughters had a foldable bed and their mattress sunk in when they slept on it so they could literally feel the bed rail underneath but because we were just there for one night and it was late we didn’t complain. Breakfast was good it was a buffet style and had a good variety. Overall, we had a nice stay for the night as we used the swimming pool too. However, I wouldn’t return due to the lack of hygiene/cleanliness. The damp smelling sheets and towels really put me off 😑"
