Sandbanks Hotel

8/10 Good
"I stayed here for 1 night with my husband on my birthday. The staff were excellent, expecially Neil the lifeguard in the pool. Disappointing that the sauna was out of order and the gym very small but Neil arranged for us to go to the Haven the next morning to use their pool, gym, steam room and sauna. We had a lovely room with a super king bed and great sea view. The breakfast was good and the dinner excellent."

"OK room - no air con but understandable give the age of the building. Bed was OK, but traffic noise is noticeable, especially with the window open (remember there is no air con), so not the best nights' sleep. Staff were fantastic though, especially the breakfast server and the breakfast itself was great."

Dining options and bars in the area are great value for money, making it a perfect destination for those travelling on a budget. 2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals to Poole, visit the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute DealsOpens in a new window sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted rates as your travel date approaches. Additionally, Smart ShoppingOpens in a new window is a useful comparison tool available in the app, allowing you to compare hotel prices and amenities. By using these features, you're more likely to be notified if prices drop or rooms become available, making your last-minute getaway easier to book.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could help you find a more economical stay in a hotel in Poole. If you’re in search of something a bit different, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. Should the price appear to be on the higher side, we can suggest alternative dates that might help you secure a more favourable rate.
  4. Consider your location: Hotels located near the city centre generally tend to be pricier, but with Poole’s excellent public transport links, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often great value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
