Staff were very good. Helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Bed comfy but room freezing cold as were the corridors. We were given an extra heater. Shower was mouldy. Rooms need refurbishing. Hope it’s not just the front being done.

Disgusting everything was wrong with it. And it’s a building site out front. needs to close down hopefully the works are to be carried on inside hotel. I had to check out the following morning it was so bad. I stayed the first night as u spent 8 hours travelling.

Friendly B&B in great location
Lovely, cosy B&B in an excellent central location on the promenade. Friendly and welcoming staff and a tasty breakfast included. Hotel is under renovation, but room was cosy and comfortable.

Weekend break...
We were given a room that felt dirty, I asked to swap the staff obliged and were really attentive. The hotel is run down but undergoing refurbishments which are really needed, the area is lovely the staff are great but the hotel itself is in dire need of a clean and refurb, not sure if we would go back as there are other options in the area that look much nicer

The room was clean and tidy and lucky for me the room was fairly noise free. As I was playing in a chess Congress which was over the weekend.i could not fault the staff as they were very friendly and outgoing.Breakfast was very good and have not had any other issues . Well done Team as I had a nice relaxed stay.

6/10 Good

Lovely and very helpful staff and their service is second to none and breakfast was excellent with attentive staff. However, the rooms stuck in time warp (late 80s to early 90s) and are in need of bringing them up to 21st century and maintenance also badly needed. In fact quite a few shabby items in the room such as plug stuck in basin sink, door handle to ensuite broken, and ancient electric heater badly burnt.

2/10 Poor

Toilet door wouldn't shut at all. So privessy not there. Floor uneven. Furniture and deco old. Extremely tied. Very noisy toilet. It smelt bad of mildue/old /stale. Bed uncomfortable. The cost of the stay was exstortunate for what you offer. No bar or place to relax. The whole building requires renovation.

10/10 Exceptional

Just a one night stay in the area. I only paid £41 for the night so didn’t expect too much. Perfect location for the sea front and Spanish City, town centre in easy walking distance. Rooms at the front will have a fabulous view when work is completed. Firstly the hotel is undergoing major renovations so looks a mess at the front - new bar and dining facilities planned. Inside it is very much on the old side but very clean from what I could see. Friendly and helpful staff. First class breakfast in terms of choice and quality. I would quite happily stay again.
