"Clean room and easy to find, car park was a good size, check in felt quite rushed considering we were the only ones there but good hotel over all"

The Beaches Guest House
"I would recommend this Guest House for your Vacation to Thorpe Bay, Southend on Sea. Joe and Buzz give you their personal Welcome into their Guest House. You feel that you are at home with family. Perfect for Solo vacationers and Seniors. Location near the quiet end of Southend on Sea in the area of Thorpe Bay with a beautiful view of Thames Estuary."
The Inn on the Lake Hotel
"Generally our experience was good. Getting there was fairly easy. Check in went smooth, the view from room over the lake was beautifull.we slept well.Food was good, we had breakfast only.Waiting time for an English breakfast seemed bit long and portion size could be bit bigger.Staff was kind and friendly. We stayed there for 1 night only. My only complain is first impression when we entered our room there were big stains on a carpet, which made us uncomfortable and want to leave immediately. On the drain in shower there was still bit of hairs.Carpets in a hallway are worn off as well. Taken away cleanliness issue it is a good value for the money and a lovely set up over the lake."
King Charles Hotel
"Hotel and room were clean, and staff were good, but there was no air conditioning anywhere, in the rooms or the restaurant. They just relied on floor fans. Really not good with the summer we've had. Plenty of parking spaces, but no EV charge points."
The Palace Hotel
"Family room was big, lovely view, very clean"
Camelia Hotel
"Lovely hotel. Good amenities. Helpful staff."
The Ilfracombe House Hotel - near Cliffs Pavilion
"Second time we’ve stayed at this lovely hotel. It won’t be the last. Conveniently located, gorgeous room, stand out breakfast. Such a pleasure to stay here."
