Disappointing
Wrongly advertised amenities. A mini fridge is not a minibar. Aircon should be working if advertise not turned off. Room smelled strongly of smoke from previous occupants but they did offer to move us. Furniture very dated with leather sofa having seen better days. Staff polite and clean so ok overall but not great for London prices

Reception was fine, voucher for complimentary drink at the bar was a nice tiuch, but greated with stain on carpet at room door along with damage to frame. Stains on floor in the room, nice leather couch in front of window, but then you can barely reach curtain rods to close curtains. Black mold in shower, nice hot shower b4 going to work function but then in the morning NO hot water, had to have a cold shower (called reception & told its the borough not the hotel, on check out suggested the hotel get a hot water system to provide back up hot water & told we'll consider it), so 4 star hotel that can't always provide guests with hot water, to me isn't 4 star. Breakfast was nice nothing special but let down by stewed coffee.

Comfortable stay
Great hotel, clean, modern enough - could do with brighter bathroom lights and the sink was very slow to drain but not a problem really. Take earplugs - I could hear train noise as it's right on the tracks. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay - I was only there 1 night but all good. Thank you.

1 member of staff ruined it all.
The location is great for what we needed but the lady in reception was awful. We arrived early and left our luggage as room wasn’t ready which is fine. However when we did check in at c9:30pm the girl (white headband) couldn’t have been more rude or less helpful (maybe look at your cctv to verify my comments (4/12/24) basically she threw my luggage out from behind the desk and just walked away with it rolling across the lobby nowhere near where I was. Then she just handed my key, no confirmation of the room number, any other facilities or where the lifts were and no discussion about wifi or anything. no discussion of the spa facilities either. Not what I expect from a £200 a night hotel. It was also booked as a birthday present for myself with zero acknowledgement of that. I had hoped to stay here several time in the future but on this basis wouldn’t

Booked for a one night stay as was travelling to Hammersmith for a gig. Excellent location as got the bus there and back. Good choice at breakfast but items could have been warmer. Short walk to Battersea power station and shops too.

Didn't feel it this time ....
Have stayed at Pestana a number of times when visiting London. It's a convenient location to Battersea and links into central London. This time we stayed for 3 nights. We booked 2 nights then added a third. Adding a third night through the add a night option on the website was more expensive than booking a separate night. We then called the hotel and they said we could stay in the same room which was great. Things seem different this time, as if they were cutting corners and making do. When we used the bathroom, smelly brown water bubbled up through the bath plug hole. There was no mattress protector on the bed and the sheet covering the bed was so thin you could spit through it. There was two small chocolates by the bed with a cut out piece of paper saying here's some chocolates, enjoy your stay etc. Didn't feel it this time, will try the hotel at the Power Station next time. I also wonder how they do their prices, when a future event is advertised nearby, the prices go up ridiculously. They then come down to a more reasonable price a few weeks/months later.

Tube line noise with broken sleep
Unfortunately my room was situated with a tube line outside which kept me awake all night. Really didn’t have the best of sleep. I would not stay here again. Other than that the hotel was very good. As I only stayed for one thing as that was to sleep i won’t be coming back.

Enjoyed it …
We enjoyed it … we like walking so it was ok for us for the west end … we walked in and tubed back … not really a long walk from the tube and just managed a beer under the arches…. Nice walk around the park before heading north and home …. Breakfast was the only less than excellent, tea a bit miserable , eggs!!! But great one night stay … thank you

One night stay experience
The hotel was overall good but my room was very close to the train track so I could hear trains passing the whole night. Not sure if this is the problem with all rooms. My 5yr old really wanted to use the pool but there was no attendant and pool looked deep so we couldn’t use it .
