I liked the accommodation is staffed throughout day and night, and that you can leave your key there if you want to so you don’t need to worry about losing it when going out partying or to the beach. Staff was kind and the area is pretty convenient between beaches in Ipanema & Copabana. They changed towels everyday which I wasn’t expecting and thought was nice.

Needs a facelift
Hotel is looking very tired and badly in need of a makeover. Lift doesn’t work which is less than ideal with luggage especially as you have to go up an external flight of steps to reception. Breakfast is very basic.
Hotel is in a good position for walking to both Copacabana and Ipanema beaches.

A lot of fake reviews on this place without a doubt. The man helping with the bags and the cleaning woman were super helpful and very kind. The woman working at the front desk should not be speaking to customers - just awful to deal with and kept trying to scam us for more money. Room is busted up and awful. Needs new ownership and management it seems.

Photos are misleading
Got a single room and the room looked nothing like the photos on the hotel page. The room was the size of a closet, the walls were paper thin so that I woke up every time someone went up or down the stairs, and the hot water didn't work at all.
The only saving grace was that the hotel staff were all very nice and spoke reasonably functional English for check in.

My experience at this hotel was quite disappointing. The room, sheets, towels, and even the sofas in the lobby were all extremely dirty. The bathroom had no hot water, and to make matters worse, the curtains and bed linens were not only dirty but also full of holes. I don’t understand how some people in their reviews claimed the hotel was clean—they must have a very different standard of cleanliness. The breakfast was very basic, with some fruits and possibly other items that seemed stale. To top it off, the elevator wasn't working, which was a major inconvenience. The only positive aspect was the staff, who were polite and friendly, and the location was somewhat decent. While I understand this hotel is affordable, that still doesn't justify the lack of cleanliness.

Hotel com bom custo-benefício. Café da manhã bom, com uma boa quantidade de comidas e frutas. Você consegue ir às praias a pé e fica próximo ao metrô. Funcionários bem atenciosos acolhendo todas as demandas apresentadas, especialmente o senhor que fica a noite.
Pontos negativos: elevador não estava funcionando tornando o hotel não acessível para pessoas com alguma dificuldade de locomoção. E é uma rei a barulhenta, por conta do moto táxi.

Chegamos no hotel, o elevador estava quebrado, uma de nos nao pode subor escadas e o quarto era no segundo andar. Fomos embora sem fazer checkin e numca fomos reembolsados. Da parte que vimos, a limpeza e manutenção estao muito a desejar.

Nada a reclamar da equipe de atendimento, as pessoas são excepcionais, foram atenciosas e simpáticas conosco.
Contudo todos os ambientes são sujos e sem higiene, inclusive a copa.
Não é sobre o lugar ser simples, é sobre zelo e limpeza mesmo.
Tudo precisa ter capricho!
E infelizmente falta esse olhar do zelo no hotel.

Estadia boa quarto amplo. Café da manhã simples. Fica um Senhor fiscalizando o nosso café da manhã é desnecessário ninguém quer ser incomodado, é chato isso. O azulejo do chuveiro estava um pouco sujo o ar condicionado com poeira. O mar revolto com ventos e com bandeira vermelha nesta data, sem possibilidade de entrar na água.

Somente duas vidas positivas , localização e o funcionários. Tida estrutura precisa de reforma, aí da tivemos visitas de baratas no quarto e banheiro. Café fraco. Toalhas e roupa e cama precisam ser renovadas. Enfi.... não recomendo.

O quarto estava muito limpo. O ar condicionado não estava muito limpo estava muito empoeirado. O café da manhã muito bom. Sai muito cedo e serviram o café 6:30 da manhã. O local é sem barulhos de ônibus. Voltarei em breve com a família. No mais agradeço por tudo.

é bom, atendimento é excelente, especialmente o sr. Luiz da recepção que é a gentileza em pessoa, antecipou meu check-in para as 9h sem nenhum custo adicional. Hotel simples, conforme o esperado. Gostei muito da estadia

Ficar hospedada no Oyo foi uma das piores experiências que já tive. A estrutura anunciada na internet não condiz com a realidade. O elevador não funciona no térreo, obrigando os hóspedes a subirem vários lances de escada com malas. Essa área é exposta, sem proteção adequada contra a rua. No quarto 104, as condições eram péssimas: a porta emperrava, a cama era dura e desconfortável, não havia itens de higiene ou pano de chão, apenas toalhas. O chuveiro era fraco, o ar-condicionado não refrigerava bem e o quarto estava sujo, com poeira e até baratas aparecendo à noite.
Além do desconforto, nos sentimos inseguros. O hotel fica em uma rua estreita onde carros de aplicativo não circulam, algo que não foi informado previamente. Precisamos caminhar cerca de 150 metros com malas pesadas para chegar lá. Durante a madrugada, ao interfonarmos para entrar, o porteiro demorou a abrir porque estava no lounge assistindo TV e não nos viu chegando. Como a portaria fica em outro andar, ficamos expostos na rua e quase fomos assaltados. Esse episódio foi a gota d’água para decidirmos sair imediatamente.
No dia seguinte, alugamos outra hospedagem e saímos do Oyo antes do previsto. No novo local, tivemos o conforto e a segurança que faltaram na primeira noite. No fim, além do desperdício de dinheiro, a experiência foi um grande estresse e quase arruinou nossa viagem. Não recomendo que ninguém passe por isso.
