These are college dorms and should be considered in that regard. The only thing that makes this space a bit uncomfortable is the tendency for fire alarms to go off at any point and the lack of toiletries available (e.g., towels, drinking water, ice, and iron)

Superb location, for Albert Hell, museums etc. Accommodation is a student hall (for Imperial College) out of term - therefore rather spartan (no TV) but perfectly functional, clean, and relatively cheap for this part of London. Useful bar and small shop on site.

Good value budget accommodation, based on summer occupancy of student halls of residence. The facilities are basic but adequate providing a comfortable stay for a bargain price that forms a superb base from which to explore all London.

4/10 Fair

I stayed for 4 nights. This is not actually a hotel, but rather dorm rooms in the Imperial College Campus. Except for sheets and toilets, the property was not very clean. A dirty towel was still in my room on arrival, so I put it on the floor so housekeeping would take it away the next day, but they left it in my room. Furthermore, some of the housekeeping staff doodled on a pamphlet that I left on the desk and stole the pen they used to do it. Neither the pamphlet nor the pen were all that important, but the fact that they messed with my belongings and stole something (even how small) was alarming and upsetting. I told the front desk staff immediately. Although the woman was very nice, showed concern, and took notes, there was no compensation offered for what happened. This was terrible service for a facility that was just okay. Additionally, housekeeping staff was inconsistent in the way they refreshed the room supplies (ie: coffee and milk sachets). Although I knew this would be a bare-bones stay, the service left much to be desired. The location is within the very safe and posh Kensington neighborhood, just a few blocks from 3 tube lines and several major museums.

The staff was very helpful and the accommodations were hotel-like despite it being a residence hall. The fire alarms truly do go off a lot! At least 3 times during my 7 day stay.

Great location, room is what you would expect from a budget hotel and is fine, but THE FIRE ALARMS!!! Four in two days - twice in the morning, twice late at night. Made it very hard to relax for fear of the alarm going off again - be warned if you stay here, keep a bag with warm clothes, shoes and a room key by the door for when (not if) the fire alarm activates...
