2/10 Terrible
"Room was lovely. Good space and very clean. Staff were very friendly & warm, couldn't fault them. Issue with a one off unauthorised payment that was taken after arrival of £8 which was a little frustrating but theyve promised to reimburse. Bed was very hard & humming of the heating sysyem kept me awake most of the night, constantly getting up to switch things off to search for the issue. Breakfast was nice & I liked the choice of picking from a seperate menu if you want. Coffee machine was lukewarm & for a hugh coffee lover to start the day that was mark down for me. Would recommend paying for breakfast beforehand or on-line for discount rather than paying full cost which, I paid £10 on line, but certainly wouldnt of paid full price for what there was. Overall pleasant stay for the one night although would probably not stay again given the choice of so many other hotels in the area which I prefer, but as always, its a matter of personal opinion."

Motel One Manchester St. Peter's Square

Motel One Manchester St. Peter's Square

10/10 Excellent
"Great for the price in the centre of Manchester. Staff were nice. I liked that the reception was managed 24/7, made me feel safe! Bar area was decent. Rooms & Communal areas very clean. Enough lifts for the amount of rooms (honestly this is a big win… had so many issues in other hotels in Manc where theres not enough lifts for the space) Wasn’t too noisy. Rooms a little small, but manageable - I was only there for one night so didn’t need much storage space. My only little annoyance was no cups or drinking glasses in the room, would have been much better than two small paper cups at the kettle! Would definitely stay again though :) "

  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate due to factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you save on your stay in a Huddersfield hotel. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we will recommend more affordable dates, increasing the likelihood that you will save.
  4. Consider your location: Opting to stay near key attractions or city centres may provide convenience, but it often comes with a higher price tag. For those seeking more affordable options, it is advisable to consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to the sites you intend to visit. You might also explore independent hotels located further afield, as they are usually more likely to be affordable and can offer a more authentic experience.
