We were here for a family get together being held not far away, everything went as well as could be - the room was lovely unfortunately there was a problem with the pool so we could not use it. Bar meal was good but quite expensive. Breakfast was okay probably as good as you get for buffet style food.

The room itself was clean and spacious however in some areas in the corridor and stairs the carpet was filthy. Good facilities with the pool, sauna steam room however the jacuzzi want working right. Port choice of lager on tap at the bar & no full sugar coke option. The hotel is over 2.5 miles outside of Chester, 1 bus an hour then none after 7 & no buses on a Sunday.

My room was on the lower floor and was very spacious, with a large bathroom. Everything was clean, although the décor is starting to show some signs of wear and tear. The free spa and gym facilities for hotel guests were lovely. The gym is perfectly adequate, although don't expect top-of-the-range equipment. The swimming pool area is lovely and warm, and having access to the sauna, steam room and hot tub was a real bonus. Overall, the facilities were very good and made the stay much more enjoyable.

Beautiful location and grounds. Coronation Street on in the bar and the seating made it unsociable and depressing but outside in a sunny day was nice if they had more seating . There is a lack of viable management and that shows in the response to some questions. The tv did not work and there are wires hanging out - this hotel is so close to bing great but is missing some simple touches.

Overall a great hotel. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were great and breakfast was excellent. Swimming pool was very clean, however the changing rooms need a lot of work, locker doors hanging off and even missing. Around the jacuzzi the panels were broken. Evening meals were very limited menu in my opinion and rather expensive. Overall though a great stay. Just spend a bit of cash please and fix the simple stuff.

Lovely stay and great staff, we had one of the suites which didn’t disappoint! The only complaints I would have is the spa jacuzzi out of use and very tough sleeping pillows!
